This facility is totally
free. this is best place to know what is webinar. It has some of the basic features of webinar.
You need not download
anything.
Simply goto their
website : coolconferencelive.com.
Register and you get
username and password.
Then can upload your
powerpoint and start conducting your class.
Inform the ACCESS
CODE and time of your webinar to the trainees by some method.
The trainees has to
simply goto the site coolconferencelive.com, click the participant link
and give the access code and they will start viewing your webinar presentation.
Disadvantages : There
is no audio. For each webinar, one telephone number and a code is given
and is displayed in the trainee screen also. It is a teleconferencing
system. If the trainee dial that number, they can join the teleconference.
The drawback is , the telephone number is U.S.A number and isd charge
will be applicable.
Disadvantage No. 2
: The trainees cannot view the real time video of the trainer.
Note:
As there is no real time broadcasting of audio or video, even if the speed
of internet is very slow, presentation will not be affected.
Advantage-1: Powerpoint
is displayed in realtime. i.e. whenever the trainer changes the slide,
it is changing in the trainees desktop also.
Advange-2: All the
participants can chat (text-chat not voice chat). Chat arrangement is
excellent.
Advantage-3. All trainees
can upload their photos, so that all others can see.
Advantage -4 : The trainer can upload a video
to the youtube.com and then he can create link this webinar. Any trainee
can view that video just by a click of a button
So, my last word:
if your requirement
is just broadcasting the powerpoint and communicating over text chat,
this is an excellent application. It is totall free.
